Developer Edition

The Majic Studio Developer Edition is targeted for use by software programmers to develop any software code necessary for a particular project.

The Majic Studio developer works in conjunction with a Majic Studio producer and other members of the production team to code behaviors for a project that are most efficiently completed using custom software code. Typically, this involves creating Majic Studio C# scripts. Majic Studio scripts are stored within a Majic Model, a Majic Component or within a timeline for time triggered behavior.

Majic Studio scripts can be created or modified using the Developer Edition. No other third party software development environment is required to create a script for use within Majic Studio. The Producer Edition can use scripts embedded within Majic Studio primitives, however a producer may not create or modify a script using the Producer Edition.

In addition to Majic Studio scripts, a software programmer can create and integrate dynamic link libraries created from a third party software development environment such as Microsofts Visual Studio and make it available for use within Majic Studio. This approach may be necessary when integrating existing third party software into an application project.
