Production Process

The production of an MajicStudio based custom application requires close client collaboration. In almost all MajicStudio productions, customers have many different types of external content in many different forms that requires integration to create a 3D visualization or custom use 3D graphics application.

Four key stages of MajicStudio

 Application definition includes:
  • Defining the applications purpose
  • Documenting specific requirements and delivery specifications
  • Creating the application storyboard
  • Defining the user interface
  • Specifying delivery formats
  • Identifying if movie production is required for publicity event

Content collection includes gathering all client specific or third party content required for the application. Content includes geometry data, simulation data, engineering data, customer applications to integrate, third party applications to integrate, terrain data, symbol specifications, instrument designs, etc. depending on the type of application.

Application production involves creating the application using RealTimeStudio.

Application review and delivery involves staged deliveries and reviews with clients to support.

A significant portion of the overall application development process, perhaps as much as much as 75% of the overall time to create an application is spent collecting content, defining the application and reviewing the application. Because of this it is critically important that clients understand the process and closely collaborate with Global Majic.
