Content ServerThe Majic Player Content Server is a web server containing the Majic Player Content Server software necessary to download a Majic Player application identified within the .mcml file. The Majic Player Content Server uses standard LAMP or WAMP software (Linux/Windows, Apache web server, MySQL, and PHP scripting) as its foundation depending on the Majic Player licensees preference or corporate IT guidelines. It is possible to automatically link an eCommerce web site to a Majic Player Content Server to automatically deliver paid content, for example a game, upon completion of a transaction. This allows a Majic Player Publishing System licensee to run an application or game store as part of his Access Web Site with no administrator intervention if desired. It is also possible to use Majic Player security mechanisms to limit a particular application or a particular set of applications available from a Majic Player Content Server to a limited Majic Player client user base.
