CAD Viewing

The MajicStudio CAD Viewer is a run time configuration of Model Studio that provides end-users the ability to view CAD data in real time. Through the use of Model Studio and the paging mechanisms within Scene Generator, CAD product structures and part/assembly relationships can be viewed in real-time and at performance levels not available with standard CAD viewers on standard presentation laptop computers.

As an example Global Majic has completed a project using the MajicStudio CAD viewing capabilities that included 21 different CAD assemblies, including assembly / part relationships that were seven layers deep, with a total number polygons on the order of 25 million triangles. A single CAD assembly included a polygon count on the order of 5 million triangles. The custom presentation application allowed an end-user to quickly navigate through this data in real-time on a standard presentation laptop with an ATI Radeon X 1600 graphics card and 2 GB of RAM.
