Model Studio

Model Studio is a configuration of the Scene Generator render engine that provides MajicStudio producers the ability to stage and manipulate 3D models at design time. Model Studios design time tools allow producers to control and configure complex 3D CAD models for optimized viewing within the context of a custom application.

Model Studio includes both automated and interactive tools to manipulate the organization of a scene graph. Meshes and product structures can be easily manipulated and merged for optimal real time 3D viewing performance.

Depending on the application, very deep hierarchical product structures and part/assembly relationships can be preserved. In other situations Model Studio tools are used to collapse unused hierarchies and merge meshes that have common material properties.

Global Majic producers use Model Studio to optimize content from third party 3D authoring tools for use in a custom MajicStudio based application. MajicStudio producers can rapidly incorporate and integrate content from authoring applications such as LightWave, 3D Studio Max, Pro Engineer, ParaSolid, I-DEAS, SolidEdge, Catia, and neutral file formats such as JT, IGES and STEP into an MajicStudio application.

MajicStudio provides a unique integration platform for 3D content integration and the merging of that content with the necessary behaviors for custom purposes.
