The .NET Component Manager provides the ability to easily manage and integrate .NET user interface components within an MajicStudio application. The Component Manager includes standard user interface elements and allows easy integration of any third party .NET component. The Component Manager provides an application shell in which menus, toolbars, docking tool-windows and a central multi-document interface are fully configurable. The Component Manager provides a very flexible mechanism for delivering custom applications in which traditional 2D Windows style user interfaces can be included within a 3D scene.
The MDI style architecture of the Component Manager allows for context driven menus and toolbars that can be arranged to match user preferences. A docking manager allows for dialogs that can be docked to any side of any application. Dialogs can be merged into overlapping groups and can be optionally collapsible for optimal screen space usage. The document area has options for tabbed views, cascading views, side-by-side views or full screen displays.
